I was quite surprised, after participating in, and reading the results of, the survey, to find how few sufferers have utilized Verapamil. This drug completely ELIMINATED the pain associated with these debilitating headaches. I finally visited Dr. Kudrow (in Los Angeles) after 10 years of suffering, and he prescribed this drug. I have never had pain again - almost 20 years!!! My first headache occurred when I was 23. I am currently 52, and have been in remission for almost 10 years now! I don't attribute this to the drug, but to God! But this drug gave me my life back. EVERY sufferer should at least explore Verapamil. It had no side effects, and I took it only during a cluster period. It was a miracle drug to me and thousands of Dr. Kudrow's patients.
