I sympathize with your experience w/ the doctor. I too am having trouble getting the help I need, and feel that no-one is taking me seriously. As you can probably tell, I'm also typing with one eye mostly shut. I have been taking Esgic plus for about a year now. The biggest problem is that it can cause serious rebound headaches if overdone. It is the same as fioricet or regular esgic, but with more acetamenophen. Just be careful not to overdo or you will have more headaches. It enables me (sometimes) t finish out the day at work, keeping the headaches from getting too bad to where I could not drive home. Doesn't always though. Not much use when headache is bad.You are right, you do know more than most doctors about this, especially about how you are feeling and what works for you. I am trying to lern to stick up for myself, but usually I just bring my husband along, and for some strange reason they don't give him the same song and dance. go figure. I am headed to Shand's hospital in Gainesville, FL tomorrow, hope to get some help there.Hope you find some answers for yoursef. Good luck
