Couldn't help but feel your pain on the treatment you were given...
I carry with me everywhere I go a prescriiption from my neuro explaining I am a patient of his and that I suffer from CH...It also has a written order from him and furthermore to contact him when I present myself to an ER....
When I went to my neuro and suggested he give me a prescription to this effect, he thought this was a wonderful idea...He is very supportive of clusterheadaches.com...I printed out every piece of information on the web back then and took him copies...They need to know and keep informed and no other place can you receive such good personal experiences than this site...
If all of us would have our neuros write us out a prescription explaining that we suffered from CH and that we were their patients, giving standing orders....our lives would be much easier and stupid ER staff wouldn't treat us like dopers looking for a fix....
