I guess I'm a verteran, 25 years. Keep telling yourself that you can and will survive each attack. Then remember that just because a drug or therapy works for one of us that doesn't mean it will work for everyone. Find a Dr. that specialises in headaches and is knowledgeable and current on treatment of Clusters and keep trying until you find something that works for you. It also helps to follow this board and realise that there are worse cases. For me this is a combination of Depakote and Amerge with Imitrex thrown in for accute attacks. At least that worked last cycle. Who knows what will work next year.
