Dosage may vary for males/females. Caution advised. This works for me (usually) and may work for most males. Start off with 80mg of Pred for 7 days. Thereafter taper down by 5 mg per day to none. So day 8 is 75 then 70, 65 etc. If you do not get relief within 3-4 days, it may not work for you. Prednisone MUST be tapered off. Never, never go from a good dose to none. You can get very sick.
