Incidentally, I was solid on the water therapy for five days, and then a killer headache, this time with nausea and lasting about six hours. I somewhere underneath the general headpain I felt the cluster, but this sounded more like a migraine. I wonder if it came because I tried to cut out the ergotamine altogether and hadn't had one for about 24 hours. Anyway, as soon as I could keep something down, I took two ergotamine. And I'll take one every day, not more, for the next few days.
In relation to the water, PH thing, I've been interested also in the discussion of Candida, which would be a player in the kind of balance we're talking about. I know there are natural remedies to overcolonization by candida, and am considering taking one. (I have one of those neurologists who would laugh at the connection between intestinal flora and neurologic disorders--then insist that I take my prednisone, which I won't. Haven't taken the depakote either. Both sound worse than the symptoms. But then I'm not suffering the symptoms this minute. My thought is that the depakote would throw off the water thing that has been more or less working. And best to err on the side of less medicine, if you ask me.)
Best wishes,
Stephen
