Went to see doc 2day fer follow up on Amerge rx. He pulls out a red laser pointer, opens my mouth, puts on gloves, pushed the back left side where CH hit last episode (i am in remission now :), thus no CH :))))) He shines the laser into some magic spot in the back of my mouth, 30 secs. I feel my throat twitch, lol
He goes, I was de-polarizing yer soandso nerve endings in the roof of your palate. I go huh?! he explains the theory behind it. I cannot deny it nor corroborate it. Well, now when I get CH I will shine the red laser on the area he pointed out for 15 secs and see how the CH responds. It is sort of like a pilot study with an n=1...so we will see when I get my next episode what happens
