All three are effective for me. The shots work much faster, and are therefore my preference. The spray is second best, unless I am having difficulty with nasal congestion in the "other" side, where it must be used. I cannot spray the ipsilateral side (this is a fancy word from medical texts about CH; just means the same side) because the ipsilateral side is going to be flowing snot and will wash out all the Imitrex. The Maxalt MLT tabs are third, because they are slowest, and may not work as well at all depending on the pH in my mouth, what I have had to eat, etc. I may need to take a second one. They are the most convenient, however. I can carry the tabs with me when I am deep inside a customer's factory in another country where getting to an injection or to oxygen is impossible, and where shooting something up your nose could be viewed with suspicion.
