jeez Monique -
you ain't gonna quit, are you ?
where do you GET some of these things you're asking about ????
that's OK - probably good,I guess if you have a LOT of time on your hands
but really my dear,
I don't understand why you don't just give a fair try to one or more of the FEW things that we KNOW help CH, before you go dashing all over the forest looking for magic berries
to stop or reduce attacks:
imitrex
cafergot
oxygen
THAT'S about it for attacks, reliably, by which I mean they help LOTS of people CONSISTENTLY!
as far as the O2 goes-
try an archive search, use the search function at thge top of the home page- and you'll find the following info is ALREADY here, about 2345 times
pure oxygen
8-10 liters per minute flow rate
thru a NONrebreather mask
start at very first twinge of the attack
breathe ONLY the oxygen
stay on it til attack is completely over
usually 15-20 minutes
NOW-
it is important to follow those instructions-
ESPECIALLY re: timing !!!
almost everybody who does, gets relief
and it turns out most who say it doesn't help turn out NOT to be doing it that way
DON'T fall asleep with the O2 mask on !!
using it LONG periods can be dangerous
DON'T try to use it on a regular basis to completely prevent the attacks
if you wait til the attack HURTS it probably isn't gonna work
it IS that simple
don't try to second-guess things & you'll probably do OK
good luck
