Hi All My name is B.J. and I also suffer from cluster.
Being a female has sometimes put people off on this as that 90% of the suffers are male. I have 2 male members of my family that also suffer with me and we have all been diagnosis with this beast.I'm in my 40's now and have suffered since I was 17. Thank God it's not an everyday thing. I have been blessed with sometimes a 2 year break.But as you can see I have found this site so it's back.I have tried many different drugs to help from self injection, to being hospitalized after a 3 week unending bout. At that time my neurologist gave me injections that took 20 minutes to inject. It was to change the chemistry of my brain what ever it was it worked and I was pain free the next 2 years.All I really wanted to say here is to thank whom ever made this site is a God sent for me and I want to thank them. I'm sure I'm going to be a long term member and the information is always wonderful!
