A group of architects were trying to figure out how tall the flagpole in front of the office was. As they stood there pondering the flagpole, a resident engineer walked past. He looked at the bewildered architects and asked what the problem was. They explained that they were trying to figure out the height of the flagpole. The engineer responed that it was easy to do. He loosened the blots at the base of the flagpole and layed the pole on the ground. He then pulled out a tape measure and measured the pole. 15 feet he responded and walked away. The arcitects looked at each other and one said, "Just like an engineer, we want the height and he gives us the length".
