the powerful "painkillers" and narcotics just aren't an answer for CH
the consequences of the frequency/amount needed are far worse than anything CH is going to bring, at least if you're seriously trying to employ all the lowtoxicity techniques that help SOME
I used to get Percoset to spell off the cafergot,
but it was never really a good strategy because if you have 6 - 8 attacks a day, you never know when to take the oxycodone (generic Perc)because if you don't take it up front, it doesn't do any good anyway
and if you take it for EVERY attack when it starts, you're in BIG trouble in VERY short order
that's why you don't "hear" anything about powerful painkillers from the "experienced" CHMB people, or in any of the medical info resources
in MY OPINION
anyone insisting that narcs are a solution for CH is more interested in justifying use of the drug, than in dealing with their CH
