Elaine IS one tuff gal, and her kindness, empathy, understanding and willingness to help does result in many people praying for her in times of challenge.

Personally, I'm an agnostic, so I don't do the prayer thing, but I respect those who do. Whether it is God, Yahweh, Jesus, Buddha, the trees, wind, rain and Sun actually makes no difference to me whatsoever. Sit around the campfire smoking peyote and summon up the spirits of the ancestors for all I care. It's the thought that counts, not the process.

What helps Elaine triumph over adversity and begin recovery quickly is the strength she receives from knowing how many people care for her. These people do so because of all the wonderful things she had done for them. Add in her positive, 'can-do' attitude, and I'm not surprised the doctors want to release her early. Okay, so maybe her willingness to point out the inherent foolishness in waking a patient up in the middle of the night to take BP and then threaten her with drugs to make her sleep encourages them to expedite her release.

The bottom line, of course, is that a vital lifeforce of ch.com is going home soon, which means she will be back with us soon.

Thank you for your words of encouragement, LindaB.
KTSSU,
T
