I am a 32 year old woman, and have been getting these evil things since I was 19. I just crawled out from underneath my desk, nursing the left side of my head for the umpteenth time. I decided to search the web, and found this site. The Diamond Headache Clinic is not the saviour that I originally thought they would be. They prescribed Sansert and some other medication to alleviate the side effects of the drug. I felt like a zombie with chest pains. The only treatment that has proven to stop the cycle in its tracks is accupuncture. Unfortunately, most insurance companies don't cover it. I highly recommend it to my comrades out there. Pick up the current issue of Discover Magazine, there is an article on headaches. It has been found that individuals with cluster headaches have an abnormally large hypothalamus. They are also lovingly referred to as "suicide headaches." Hmm, I wonder why?
