Hi. My boyfriend of almost 5 years suffers from CH. He has been suffering for about 7 or 8 years, but we only got a correct diagnosis last year(in the past he's had dental work done, and was always told it was allergies or sinusitus). Since we didn't find out about CH until almost the end of his cycle, we're still unsure about treatments - he's going to the doc this week to discuss preventive treatment, he says he can feel the "tightness" in his head that signals an attack.
Also, his cycles used to start in the spring - April or May - now they are starting in February. We know the basic stuff, no drinking, keep a steady sleep cycle, and he's going to get oxygen this year.
Anyway, any help that you can offer me/us concerning treatments, esp. how to prevent these stupid god-awful headaches would be appreciated.
I try to be a good girlfriend and have patience, but sometimes I too get frustrated, and I am really dreading this upcoming cycle. So any tips from spouses of sufferers would also help.
Thanks!
