Niacin

Has anyone used and/or had any luck using Niacin at the onset of a CH? The paisley birkenstock tree-hugger at my local health food store recommmmended it. I have been having CH's for approx. 20 yrs. and have never heard of this therapy. I was there to find out about feverfew which I had learned about here. Anyone have luck with that? I would be willing to try just about anything right now. I just hope they don't find out that dog urine or something equally gross is an effective treatment.
