Guess everyone wondered if I dropped off the face of the earth...well, almost. My computer got fried in November due to a very big power surge....Just got it back, well almost back....still have many problems to iron out...I had to order a new monitor yesterday.
Been fighting with insurance companies about loss...I lost everything....All my company records, IRS stuff for 99, the works....I know before everyone jumps on me...I should have backed up more often...but, hindsiight is better.
I lost all your addresses, ICQ that Claudette installed for me, the works...I ran across Elaine's phone number the other day and called her and learned a lot of the news....Guess the Susan on the board was getting tired of answering questions on her golf game and stuff considering she wasn't ADame. My golf game is better than ever, just too cold way down south even for golf. Haven't played in 3 weeks.
One great thing to tell you....I haven't had a Cluster since September.....so very afraid to say that out loud, afraid the demon will hear and come knocking again....I realize one thing after going 3 wonderful years pain free......that I was only kidding myself...he will be back----but when he does, I know I will have my wonderful "Cluster Family" to rely on. Thanks again for all the wonderful help and support you gave me during one of his 12-day sprees....I had several really bad months to go through. I really thought it would surely kill me that time. I have even been brave enough last month to have a mixed drink again.....Last time I tried that in September, boy was I ever sorry...He slammed me in such a hurry, just to let me know he was still in charge.
Doing pretty good now...BP & Pulse got all out of wack during this past year.....No explaination for this, but will learn to live with it.....
GREAT NEWS.......I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMA! The kids came up from Atlanta for Christmas and gave me a card and said I had to open it first....It was to My Grandma To Be....The blessed event will not be until August 30th, but we are all very excited...I will have either an Andrew Wolfgang Dame if it is a boy, or an Alise Winter Dame if it is a girl...My son has said since before he was a teenager that if he ever had a boy he was going to name it Wolfgang and he is....We love it, course I am use to it by now....So I will have a Wolf Dame or a Winter Dame....Can't wait. The only thing is that I got knocked out of going to Jackson Hole, Wy last August because of my gallbladder surgery and I said I was going this year at that time even if I had to go by myself.....well, I guess Jackson Hole has been put on the back burner again this year in August....planning on it in 2001....That means that I won't be attending the Cluster Headache Reunion this year....sorry I won't get to meet some more of you in person...
If anyone out there is smart enough to be able to retrieve information off a hard drive, please, please call me.....I really need help....I still can't get my printer to print...New monitor hasn't come yet...Big white line through my screen now...hard to read anything...
So glad Elaine is doing so well since her surgery...Please fill me in on the hightlights of what I have missed...Hope this finds everyone well, happy and pain free.
