I was diagnosed with CH yesterday, what a relief, I
thought I was going crazy for the past 5 years, twice
a year, for about two months, at the same time
everyday. It started again 3 weeks ago at work, my
coworkers thought I was going to dye.
I didn't know what it was before but did find some
relief on my own. First of all, I noticed that it was
occuring only at work, only on weekdays, everyday
at 1:20pm, never on weekends. I usually wake up
at 6:20 am. So last thursday I decided to wake up
at 6:00am and, you guessed it, the CH hit me
at 1:00pm (20 min earlier).
I noticed that drinking coffee was helping, as well as
taking a walk outside in the cold while it was snowing
(I live in Montreal).
I had friday off this week, and I woke up with CH,
I had sleep for seven hours, 1 more than usual, that's
when I decided to consult a doctor.
Looks to me like it hits me whenever I'm more than
6 hours without any kind of stress (coffee, cold, lack
of sleep, and it's also very slow, even boring at work,
for the past three weeks).
And that would also explain why I never have them on
weekends, I go out a lot, don't sleep much, and drink
a lot of coffee.
The doctor put me on Prednisone and gave me Percocet
for the pain. I don't know if it's gonna work but I'm
planning on keeping very busy for the next couple of
months...
Does this make any sense to any of you?
