Funny you should mention an "odd cycle". I have been on the verge of posting about mine.
I am keeping a journal this time. My first signs started a month ago. I say "signs" because I have only had one full blown,on my knees ,crying,banging HA in that month. I've had about 6 tiny ones and a bunch of precursors that didn't "blossom" into a CH.
If I had changed my regiment I would have been fooled into thinking that that change was helping control CH...but I haven't changed any of my habits.
I have replaced those little nose canules on my O2 hose with a mask like so many have suggested here. ...WHAT A DIFFERENCE...I aborted two wakeup CH's in 5 minutes with the O2 alone....normally I would have downed some meds but I wanted to see if the O2 would work ...and it did....glorious!
This odd cycle is very unnerving...like walking down a dark street in a bad neighborhood...just knowing that at any minute someone is going to jump out and kick yer ass.
So it goes.
