It was the single worst torture of my life.
It was absolutely the longest, most miserable night I can recall in my fifty-some-odd years -- by far the meanest of all the thousands of headaches I've had. It went way beyond anybody's scale.
Maybe ten years ago or so, I decided to drink myself into a stupor in an attempt to obliterate an incoming before it hit. Nothing else had worked. I had already known about alcohol being a disaster for CH's.
But, I was feeling desperate and I just thought...You know, why not give it a REAL try.
So, I grabbed the bottle of bourbon and began a brilliant binge. Belt after belt, I imbibed with bravery bordering upon your basic, brassy bravado.
Bad boo-boo.
Bery bad.
If you are new to these things and are curious about alcohol's effects upon clusters...abandon the booze!
(Of course, one of the things I did less than a week after the cycle ended and I was feeling invincible was to go celibrate.
Bad boo-boo.)
