You've been dealt a tough hand, no doubt there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We do joke around a lot on the board but that's only because we have become friends and like to forget about CH now and then if we can. Call it escapism if you want, but if we can bring a smile to the face of someone who otherwise has forgotten how, we will. We have been accused of perpetuating a clique on this board but nothing could be further from the truth, actually. All new CH sufferers and supporters are welcomed into the fray. The people that have been here longer are naturally going to be more familiar with each other. Just human nature, I guess.
Stop feeling guilty for asking for chemical relief - we all have our limits and you, not surprisingly, reached yours. But, although I'm an advocate of med-free control of CH, there ARE some newer drugs out there to help. Bob's right....have you looked into Imitrex or Verpamil? Or Topomax? There is lots of drug information on the left of this page and you may want to print some of it out to talk to your doc.
