I'm a bartender(strange, huh?) I know from experience what this bartender was probally really thinking. You see the more drinks you serve to the same person the higher your tip percentage per drink generally is. If the bartender can't get you drunk then he/she looses that extra percentage & in turn views non-alcoholic beverages as a waste of time in getting to that next person who will get drunk & give that extra percent. We heard them in...we heard them out with the means of emptying a few pockets along the way. It's evil but so is money. You're better off not drinking the stuff anyway.
