I'm a 43 year old woman who has had CH since I was 12. Fell into a bathtub once but that's the only head injury I can remember. My cycles have gone from every 6 to 9 months to about every 2 years now. Only had HA during one of my four pregnancies but cycle returned the day after I had all four kids. Only thing I notice is that the CH are pretty much the only affliction I have. Don't get colds, had strep throat once in my life, flu only 2 times. Had bronchitis once. Seems like after I get something I don't get it again. Also, lots of the medications I have used for the headaches will work the first time and then don't work for the next cycle. Only thing that has been consistent is the Imitrex and oxygen. I don't get CH seasonally. I also have a brother that has CH. No one else in my family has a history of HA. I do smoke but haven't noticed that it makes them any better or worse. Don't drink and didn't start smoking until 9 years after the CH started.
