I just read Diana's 9/99 posting....I too was suffering from daily headaches that were originally diagnosed as migranes. I asked for a new neurologist because the diagnosis just didn't fit the symptoms. The new neurologist thought it might be a problem with the ocipital nerve. I started the neurontin 300 mg, 3x day mid-December plus started physical therapy 3x week Jan. 3. The severe headaches are down to only 1-2 a week. The physical therapist believes that I injured my neck with a new yoga posture and it set-up the problem with the ocipital nerve. If you get a phycial therapist, make sure you find one with intense training in crainial and neck work. My therapist is VERY hands on - the therapy hurts, but it's getting easier and the headaches are getting less.
