First of all, clusterheads don't have an "End of their rope". Our ropes are endless, which is both a blessing and a curse.
I'm in the final stages of a divorce, my fourth. I can't honestly say that clusters were the only reason for them, but they sure as heck didn't help.
Here's the bottom line....God, Buddha, the trees, nature, dumb luck or whatever has dealt us a lousy hand. We have two choices....fold our cards and end our participation in the game of life, or hang tough and try to bluff out the competitors. Outside of this board, there probably aren't a dozen people (in my present circle of life) who know I have clusters and most of them still don't understand what CH means. So what? I cope. I deal. I work around.
No, I don't have it nearly as rough as Carl or drummer or Elaine or any of the other chronics, but on one level that's a matter of degree of frequency. Bottom line is we all deal with only a limited circle of friends, co-workers, acquaintences, relatives, significant others, etc.
Teach the ones who matter to you. If they refuse to learn and accept, you don't want them to matter to you anyway. The ones who don't matter...just smile and tell them you hope they never have to learn how wrong they are and walk away.
