I stumbled on this site looking for information for my husband on CH. He has not had these for about the past 5 years, but has been going strong for the past 5-6 weeks. It's unnerving to wake up in the middle of the night and find someone you love in so much pain, head smashed against the wall crying, and there's nothing you can do. (I'm a nurse, I'm supposed to be able to do something!!!) He went to the doctor, got medication, etc. Nothing worked. Then I remembered someone who had migraine-type headaches, and used oxygen. I thought, what the hell. Can't hurt. I came home the next day, oxygen tank in hand. My husband thought I'd lost my mind. I told him to just try it. IT WORKED!!!! He was so excited. Now at the first sign, he uses the oxygen. Within 15-20 minutes, its gone. I had also copied some info from this site for him to read. He had no idea there were so many people with this problem. He felt like someone had written all of his symptoms in this information. I think he feels not so isolated and alone now. I'm sure you'll be hearing from him. His name is Lonnie. I have helped him as much as I can, but I think he'll feel better hearing from people who have "been there". Thanks for this site. I'll be reading, and writing. Good luck to all of you.
