i found this site (along with the mesage board) while
searching around, trying to figure out how to stop
these darn headaches or why i might be getting them.
but i'm still not sure.
so i thought i'd ask someone who'd know (as in ...you
guys)
i'm 17 (well, for three more weeks anyways) and
starting back last may, i would start getting these
headaches. it seems like it's one eternal headache
that i've had since may, only it numbs away for periods
of time. sometimes (like now) i'll be going for
almost three weeks with just this constant pain, like
someone stuck a spear through the middle of my head.
and nothing can make it go away, or even dim the pain.
but i can go for almost two weeks without ever feeling
a thing.
i'm not particularly sensitive to light or sound, but
i've never been able to be around much light.
migraines (are the hereditary?) do run in my family,
and i *have* had those before, but this ongoing
headache is different. (i haven't had a migraine in
well over two years)
in the worst of it, i can sleep for three days straight
or not be able to sleep for almost a week.
it just depends. and i won't be able to eat barely
anything once the pain goes on for a week.
i don't whatelse. i'm .. scared's not the right word,
more like apprehensive about seeing a doctor.
(for a lot of reasons ...)
so i thought i'd just say hi.
i'm not sure what i'm asking for,
advice maybe? someone have anything similar to this?
