I have taken Sansert several times. The PDR states that it should never be taken for more than 6 months at a time, followed by 1 month without it before starting again. I can also cause liver damage. When I was on it, my doctor monitored my pretty closely. Weight gain is one of the side effects. It also made me sick to my stomache for the first 3 days. After that, I had gas all the time. Pretty bad when you can't to be with yourself... It also made me moody, but it seems to help terminate my clusters. Once they had been around for a month and seemed to be high on RIP and several times a day, I would get on this. Calan SR240 twice a day would help most years, but still needed sansert sometimes.
