I have tried O2 with a pretty good success rate.
I am Fire Chief of a Volunteer Fire Dept. so I am fortunate to have access to unlimited supplies of Oxygen. I run O2 at High flow 15 lpm through a non-rebreather mask. It doesnt work all of the time, but at least it mellows the pain in the worst cases.
