I am the wife of a CH sufferer and I need to know a few things-
I love what I see out here and all the support you are to each other but how much time and energy do you spend with you health care professional?
I know what it's like to walk out of the office-"again" and think "what an idiot".
No one knows more about what is going on then you and the people who you trust enough to let in.
A relationship between 2 people and "the deivl" is extremly challenging but who else can do this?
I make appt. after appt., I threaten, I yell, I beg and I cry. Then it's a trip to the pharmacy and it starts all over.
If we don't continue to tell them, time after time, what we tell each other how will they ever know?
I have left more then 1 office and wished this life on the person who has called my husband an addict or just plain weak. I can't do this without you.
For everyone that fights this battle alone-you have my heartfelt sympathy-I can't even imagine.
We need to become the voice that will not go away when "they " go to bed at night-Just like the voice we all live with.
Let me know your thoughts.
The wife of a sufferer.
