I don't really know where to start, this is all so new to me.
I was recently diagnosed -- just yesterday in fact -- with
cluster headaches. I guess in a sense it gave me a name to
attach to what's been happening this past year. I tend to get
the headaches for a period of 2-4 days. The fist time I went
in I was told it was only stress and that I needed to learn
how to balance all the things going on in my life. Now I'm told
I have to take some kind of habit forming narcotic if I want
to control the pain when it becomes unbearable. And, as you all
know, that's often the case. I guess my one question is: now
what?
Thank you for listening. I've been reading some of the posts and
it's nice to know there is a group of people out there who
understand.
