People in closed societies often devise a language of their own to communicate with one another. Certain terms come into common usage. Terms get shortened and become shorthand code words. Sometimes this code is designed to obfuscate and keep the society closed. Sometimes it is simply to show-off ego.
I have found in my experience that if one can not reduce the idea to simple expressions the truth has not been achieved. E=MC2. Generally, the user is not clear either on purpose or unintentionally, OR the idea is not fully distilled.
