Eric,
I am sorry that you are hurting.
I'm not a doctor but I have been suffering from
Cluster Headaches for over 25 years and it sounds
like you may be describing something other than CH.
Typically, (at least with mine and most of what I have
read) CH's affect just one side of the head and one eye,
which waters during an attack and the nostril on
that same side will stuff up. The pain can best be
described as violent and intense (It basically feels like
the whole side of your head is about to explode)
I experience extreme sensitivity to light of any
kind.
Whether the cause of your headaches is Hypo Glycemia, eye
strain, allergies, Clusters, or (God forbid) something
even more serious, the fact that you have been hurting for a year
indicates that something is wrong and I strongly suggest that you
see a doctor.
Whatever the cause, I hope you are feeling better soon.
Sincerely,
Bill
What you described sounds a bit more like a hypo-glycemic
(sugar crash) headache. Especially since you mentioned
that they hit every afternoon about the same time.
