Wow. This makes a lot of sense to me. I think that everyone agrees that a head injury at some point in your life may trigger clusters later. For me I've blamed eye surgery, but after reading your post I'm not so sure. I'm 43, clusters showed up (right side) about 3 years ago, eye surgery (right side) about 5 yrs ago, BUT...I've forgotten this...wisdom teeth removal 7 yrs ago. After my wisdom teeth were removed, the nerve along the right side bottom jaw was damaged. I was numb from my chin to my jaw joint for nine months. Must be a connection. The disappointing part is that you can't undo any of it.
