Hi Bonnie!
Sorry to hear that we have to welcome you to the club. Start on the water therapy straight away, before the cluster get settled. Did you take anti-biotics recently? Let me know immediately, as I then have to point you to info on this message board which you HAVE TO SHOW YOUR DOCTOR (posted I think by Jim), but I'll find it for you.
Also, start logging your symptoms in deatail straight away:
At which times does it occur?
Exactly what does it feel like?
As accurately as possible, how long do they last?
How frequently per day or per night do they occur?
What is your average water intake per day BEFORE you start water therapy?
How much salt do you consume?
Are you a smoker?
How much alcohol did you normally use before stopping?
Do you vomit during the pain?
Any visual disturbances prior or during an attack?
Any stomach sensations (cramps, etc.)?
Any skin or other allergies?
Any history of vaginal discomfort?
Any injuries to your skull and/or face EVER in your life, even if it was mild injuries and even if it occurred as a child?
Which operations did you have in your life?
Any family history of clusters or migrains or other forms of headaches?
Let us hear from you soon. However, water therapy with your oxygen and medication straight away is strongly recommended.
You are not alone, we are here for you.
Kindest regards
Jerry
