This could be a reality. Imagine the headline :
"COMMUNITY STILL IN SHOCK AFTER TRAGIC INCIDENT"
Police are still investigating the death of a St Clair county man who, according to eyewitnesses, literally ripped his own head from his body. The 29 year old man, whose identity is being withheld, was sitting on steps in front of his home when the Incident occured. His neighbor, Bill Wallace, explained to reporters just what he saw: "He was sitting there, rocking back and forth and moaning, grabbing his head by the back of his neck. I just figured he had one of his bad headaches." According to relatives, the man suffered from a condition known as Cluster Headaches, a rare disorder. "I was raking leaves in my front yard," said Mr. Wallace, "When I heard him scream very loud. When I looked over to him, he was yanking his head by the neck forward, and I still don't understand how anyone could possibly do such a thing without being demon possessed. It's just unbelieveable."
The man apparently pulled his head forward with such force, his head was dislocated from his neck, left attached only by a strand of muscles. Coroner Fred Davis said, "This is amazing. In all of my years of being with this department I have never seen something like this done to a person, much less self inflicted." A neighbor who asked not to be identified, was taken to the hospital for shock after witnessing the incident. "We have several people who saw the event happen," Stated Sgt. Jack Rodgers. "Without the eyewitness account of this tragedy, this most definitely, by nature, would have been considered a homicide and would probably remained unsolved; but everyone who has come forward has told us the same story." The township has called a meeting for tomorrow night and will have counselors on-hand to help those who are having a difficult time dealing with this tragedy.

I wrote this shortly after feeling like ripping my own head from my body. Once again, I am not sleeping. With all of the definitions and deep literary thoughts going through my head, the deepest thing I can think of to say is - THIS SUCKS!!!
Hope your day is better than mine,
