Was it the injectible? It's said to work a lot better. I only used it once years ago. When it first came out, they said I could use it once every 48 hours. It worked, but I had another headache an hour later, so I quit using it.
DHE-45 injectible worked very well for years. Would abort in just a couple minutes. But I evenutally switched to sublinguals before bed if I knew I would get a headache that night. And Migranol (I think that's the same drug, just the brand name for the nasal spray) when I woke up with an unexpected one. But since you get rebound headaches with those (& with imitrex), a round of prednisone as you go on verapamil or lithium or deapakote or nortriptyline or sansert or some combo of those (or several others I can't think of) may be your best bet. Are you chronic or episodic?
