I've noticed California cattle always pee into the wind (if ya want to call that faucet they turn on peeing). The Hereford ranch is in the Los Osos Valley. The valley runs from Los Osos on the coast to about 20 miles inland. Usually a real wind tunnel in the afternoons. The wind must make the cattle's eyes water so they always stand with their butts to the wind. I'm told drummer does this too, but in his case it's so he can smell his excuse me's. Now there's a wind that brings tears to my eyes.
Can anyone tell me when the best time of year to pick the shrooms from the cow patties is?
