This is TOTALLY off the headache subject, but please give me the chance to vent!
Thank god I'm not in a cycle right now!!!!!
My 3 year old AKC registered full blooded black lab (Trace), my duck hunting buddy, turned up dead today. She was fine last night when we went to bed, but didn't answer when I called her for her food this morning. Found her lying in front of her dog house. To say the least, it's been a difficult day at DJ's house!
Kelly (my wife) and I don't have any kids, so Trace (the dog) was like our only child. Don't know if we could have handled the day if I was in a cycle.
At least there is a good side to every story. She looked like she died in her sleep...peacefully. Never thought we could cry so much over a dog :-(
Sorry, just needed to vent and didn't know of a better place to do it. Thanks for listening.
