Sounds like clusters to me, too. If you’re awakened out of a deep sleep by pain so bad that you have a hard time believing that you’re actually just feeling it and not passing out or dying, you have the one symptom that seems to be common to all CH’ers. My eye doesn’t tear or turn red and my nose doesn’t get stuffed up or run. But my eyelid, after 43 years of this horror, has a permanent droop. And I sometimes have another symptom that I’ve seen written about in books, but which I’ve never seen mentioned on the board. So, I’ll mention it. It’s called “polyuria.” Every ten minutes or so, during the course of the attack, you have to go take a serious leak, like you’ve been sucking down 40’s all night long.
