I picked up clusters in 1975 and have had them almost daily since. I hid them for years which was no small feat considering I was active duty army . I finally gave up in 1985 and accepted a medical retirement. If it were not for initrex I would be dead now. The hospitalizations and operations and medications had and have taken there toll. The veterns administration now provides me with 60 initrex injections a month. This is still not enough, but conbined with some other meds I get by somehow. If any of you are ex-military, and service related for these H/A's, force the VA to provide you with the imitrex. I have 2-4 of the damn things everyday, and have tried every treatment known. For the record, I pretty much fit the typical cluster profile. (except that I have no remission periods) Hang in there folks . I welcome any communication concerning the above.
