Well, hello again fellow sufferers and family of sufferers. Our web-site has aparantly taken on a different link, because I lost you all for a while. It's okay I guess the extra "month" has given "so-slow security" an opportunity to pull some new tricks out of their bag, and I thought you may all be interested in the results, thus far. I first left a message back in September about receiving SS for CH sufferers. Apparently, it is almost un-heard of. Since my last entry, my fiance was asked by SS to undergo a psychiatric evaluation before thier decision could be "put off any longer" (they had already over-extended their time allowance by 3 or so months). He complied, what else could he do?, we had come this far, and why not, maybe these headaches actually do cause brain damage------- just kidding folks, we both know that it is the lack of education, and understanding by others that hurts sufferers the most.Anyway, lack of money, to buy imitrex is really hurting us. As I write this letter I know that my fiance has 1 shot left, and is dreading having to use it. Long story short, his required "exam" came back saying that is okay, but shows signs of depression...... "Well DUH!!!!, how the hell long do they think he can hang in there?,,,waiting and waiting, being shuffled around, given every bit of run around they can dream up, lost papers, moved offices, changing case workers, vacations, ....and so much red tape and bull, just on and on and on.... . Whew!, thank-you for letting me get that off my chest. The latest I've heard is that his file is back in San Fransico... and they have "30 days" to make their decision. His case worker sounds confident that it should go through. With any luck a check should come before Christmas. (Of what year, I'm not sure!)
Not a quitter!
