This really isn't cluster related but since so many of us have taken prednisone, I thought someone could off er their opinions,knowledge,little known factoids,ect..etc. I started a 10 day round of prednisone taken in step-down dosages today. It seems that the nasty flu bug I had has turned into pnuemonia and bronchitis. About 5-7 hours after taking the prednisone, my heart started racing and I felt rather flushed. I wouldn't have blamed the prednisone had I not had a very similar experience the last time I took it for my clusters(which was over a year ago). Has anyone else had this happen to them or heard of it? I don't know much about the pharmacology of it. I just have some vague idea about its anti-inflammatory properties.
