Got $500,000 just 20 months ago. Advised them I had cluster headaches. Had a physical, underwriters called me twice, and they got all my medical records which reflected my cluster information (all SOP when applying for $500K). Did not have a minutes problem. They understood it was not life threatening. They did not rate me up on the clusters. Premium was a little higher than the lowest available but I dip a little skoal all along and couldn't get around it, had nicotine in my sample. Not a smokers rate but a tad higher than non smokers rate. It might be worth a try. Don't make a big deal of the clusters when you apply.
