Bernadette, I'm so sorry to hear that you are "stuck" at work. All I can suggest is go to the emergency room (if there is one close). Believe me, I know how incredible the pain is!
Let me ask you this...have you tried the auto injectable Imitrex (Sumatriptin)?? Just like Juan said in an earlier post, within 5 minutes after taking the shot, his headache is gone. It is the same for me.
I keep a kit (2 shots) with me all the time and have oxygen at home. If I'm at work, or away from the house, all I do is take a shot and BAM! It's gone! The only negative part about Imitrex is it's cost (approx. $80 per kit), but its WELL WORTH IT!
Oxygen works pretty well for me too if I catch it at the very beginning, and it works pretty well for the middle of the night headaches.
