I have been talking to moms and dads who have small children and they have a time with them when they are having a cluster. I thought I would share something I use to do. I made a cluster box. This box had special toys in it that my children loved to play with. They were only able to play with these toys when I had a cluster. As soon as I felt a cluster coming on I took them to the living room and the box. I turned on the TV
and gave them a box of cookies and a drink. That always kept them busy long enough for me to take care of my cluster. Now the trick to this is you have to take the box and put it up each time. That way they are not board with the toys in the box. I always added a new toy about every two weeks. It worked great for me. Cleaning up the living room each time was worth the peace I had for that hour. Plus I did not have to worry about what my clusters were doing to them. They were happy.
