Why does water work? Although I am frantically doing my very informal "research", I can as yet not tell you conclusively, however:
The issue of pain, and specifically headaches, has been the point of almost compulsive focus for scientists over centuries. So far I have found that there is a conspicuous overlap between clusters and migrain. I will spare you the detail. It is surfacing in my research at present that the biological "thirst" mechanism in the body is involved when it comes to clusters. This is substantiated by the fact that SALT, alcohol and it will inconclusively seem, also high sugar intake (chocolate, sweets), result in clusters within about one hour after intake (and often almost immediately after intake). I will keep this message board posted as I stumble forward in my research (rather desperate SEARCH). Keep me posted on your progress, and painless times for you my friend!
