the very first time I had a cluster headache, without realising what it was, I took aspirin (as one does). it seemed to work.
Over the years, they became more frequent, until I decided to go to my GP. he advised that if I thouight aspirin worked, to keep taking them.
I still do during a cycle, as I'm too frightened not too (what would the pain be like without them?). I always have some on me.
But I try hard not to take them unless I really feel I need to, and get worried if I take them daily for periods longer than 3 weeks.
they become ineffective after this time anyway, I find.
Try the water treatment - although it's not banished mine, the frequency and severity has definately reduced>
