My wife and I had Alice B. Toklas over for dinner last week and we got to talking about Gertie and Ernie and now that I recall, Alice actually claimed ( after a few cigars and some sherry ) that both Bill S and Ms Stein stole this thought from Alice many, many years ago.....
And now that I think about it .....
