I was put on five prednisone tapers last year (there was a torn rotator cuff procedure thrown in), the end result of which is that I'm now "immune" to it, at least as far as its effectiveness on cluster headaches is concerned. Last time around it did absolutely nothing for the pain.
But does anyone know what a reasonable, safe interval is between tapers? Six months? A year?
